The invitation was printed on a textured stock, with a blind emboss of the college seal on the front, and Dr. Thomas D. Burns' name in silver foil. These print techniques were chosen to enhance the piece and make it stand out as a unique event, showing the importance of the Presidential Inauguration.

The inside featured corner slits to hold the invite in place, stacked inserts customized to the target audience (with identifiers in order to assemble the correct inserts for the correct groups), a die cut beneath the inserts, and a clear foil of the college motto behind the inserts. All of these custom print techniques made this invitation bold, remain traditional, and emphasized the importance of the event.

The program was designed to match the invitation and save the date, without using the textured stock. The seal was used on the cover as a background element to mimic the blind emboss on the invitation

The save the date was kept simple, using the same textured stock as the invitation to tie the entire suite of designs together.
